FONOTECA (SOUND LIBRARY)

The Sound Library collection is comprised of around 22.000 phonograms on CD and DVD format. The  catalogue was created between 1992 and 2011 and contains a large selection of titles (many already available in the publishing industry and difficult to find in the digital platforms) representative of the following Music Areas: National Traditions, Jazz, Pop/rock, Classical Music, New Musical Languages, Functional Music, non- musical Phonograms and Children Phonograms. This BLX service aims at meeting the need for information in the music area in general and in Portuguese music in particular, and to develop music workshops and activities for all audiences.
